In this year’s FIRST Robotics Competition, DESTINATION: DEEP SPACE, two alliances of three teams each compete for a high score. The robots on each team has 150 second round in their designated areas. Teams must prepare their spacecrafts for launch by loading them with cargo and by sealing them with hatch panels. In addition to scoring more points than the opposing team, Ranking Points are earned by successfully docking an alliance’s robots and completely finishing one rocket. These Ranking Points determine which teams qualify for further games and competitions.
