Stack Attack (2003)

Early plays of teams trying to control the ramp

Stack Attack was the first FIRST Robotics Competition to use game elements that weren't balls. The game is played on a rectangular field with a large ramp and platform structure located at the center. Large box shaped containers were stacked on top the platform.

The object of the game was to get as many boxes on your side of the field as possible. Stacked boxes acted as multipliers that could boost an alliance's score significantly. If your robot was on the platform at the end of the match, you would earn bonus points for your alliance.
