Shooter

   This year's game "Lunacy" requires a mechanism to score orbit balls and our team decided to go with a turreted shooter. Powered by a CIM motor, our turret is capable of shooting at targets from 10 feet away.

   The pan and tilt of the turret is powered by two different motors. The pan ultizles the Fisher Price motor and is capable of turning at a rate of about 180 degrees per second. The tilt is less drastic and features a large reduction on a window motor which we can use to modify the angle of the exit velocity.
