Today we had an experimental day :) In the begining we made a key slot for the beater bar. Then we made the little key that fits in there. Meanwhile, Mr. Ing was working on the feeder on the top of the robot; like where should we put the feeder so that the ball will go into the shooter. Later on, Mr. Tom wanted to show us the experiment of Mentos and Diet Coke. So, we took a little break and watch the experiment. While we were outside, the animation team needed sounds of a tree. Then, Jace gave them a little help to shake the tree a bit so that they could record it and use it in their animation. We then went back inside and continue to work on what we were working on. Later on, we installed in the beater bar. Then, Mr. Leong asked us to help him to broach the sprockets. After Mr. Ing decided where the feeder will be placed, he screwed it in so that we can test it. We first test the beater bar with the helix to see how it works together. We discovered that when two balls or more goes in consecutively, there may be a problem with the first ball getting stuck into the helix. After testing and trying out new things, we discovered that we can solve than problem by changing the size of the helix. After that was done testing, we went to test the feeder. On the feeder, Mr. Ing attached on some treads to give it more grip. As we tested, we did some modification to impove how the ball will go into the shooter. This concluded our day.

After this, we took a bathroom break and my camera felt it needed a swim... so it dived into the toilet. Luckily I didn't use the bathroom yet. But, it was soaked badly that after this I couldn't take any pictures for the rest of the night. :(
