    Speed Controllers

What if you had to control a robot with just ON/OFF switches? The robot would only be able to go at its maximum speed in any direction. With speed controllers, we are allowed proportional control over the robot's speed and functions.

There are 2 types of speed controllers: Victor speed controllers and Spike relays. Victor speed controllers proportionally control the drive motors and any other robot functions that need precision movements, such as the arm.

Spike relays act like normal switches. They can be in forward, reverse or neutral positions. Relays are used to control solenoids which activate the robot's pneumatic gear shifting, grabber, and other robot functions.
