Motors
| Many of the robot's functions are made possible by the use of motors. Motors spin at high rates of speed. Transmissions are used to reduce that rotating speed to a manageable level.
This robot uses 4 CIM motors for the main drive system.These can propel Hawaiian Electric to over 14 feet per second. Two Fisher Price motors and one RS550 BaneBot motor are used for the elevator lift. One RS540 BaneBot motor is used for the wheel grabber. |
