Hot Lava has 6 wheels each made of 3 separately machined parts. The 2 outer sections sandwich the treads in place so no adhesive is required. The center plate acts as the backbone of the wheel giving it it's strength.

   Holes are drilled in the wheel to make it both lighter and visually appealing. The design of the wheel is based upon a design that Team 60 came up with a few years ago.
