Motors
| Many of the robot's functions are made possible by the use of motors. Motors spin at high rates of speed. Transmissions are used to reduce that rotating speed to a manageable level.
This robot uses 4 CIM motors for the main drive system.These can propel Hot Lava to over 13 feet per second. Two larger Fisher Price CIM motor are used for each joint of the arm. |
