"As a participant in FIRST robotics, I get a first hand look on what it's like to be an engineer. It not only teaches us mechanical and programing skills, but people skills as well. As a future engineer, this program is invaluable because of the experiences gained and the people I've met. You get hands on experience working with tools and gears that you may otherwise not have access to. You work countless hours with people who you grow to love. You get to work with real engineers in their specific fields and areas of expertise. The FIRST program is an experience that I will never forget because of the wonderful friends I have made and the extensive knowledge I have gained. " |
